Hello dear reader. Thank you for stopping in to get to know me and my work a little better. I'm Kacey Montgomery, a professional creative and enthusiast of many trades. I primarily work in photography, writing, and podcast production though I also have skillsets in illustration, video production, and graphic design. I prefer to distill it down to the brief yet complex title, Storyteller.

The Mission
I approach my work with introspection and reverie as I look to examine the world around me and my place in it. My mission is to create work that is thought-provoking and useful to those who consume it. Whether it be an effort to move the social needle forward or provide an entry point for reflection.
The art of the interview brings me great joy; fostering quiet moments to speak with a person and better understand them or discover who they are. I believe that by exploring a variety of viewpoints we can better understand ourselves.
I aim to tell stories that impact how the readers, listeners, or viewers relate to the world and themselves.
Goals and Ambitions
In an increasingly digital world, my ambition is to blend analog media elements back into the daily zeitgeist. Film and print media are pillars of my work - there is a lot of power in creating and communicating with physical objects. In my practice and output, I strive to include computers as a helpful utensil to a succulent main course of primarily handmade media.
My ultimate goal is to produce print publications and digital media that are informative, uplifting, and inspiring to consumers. Helping to set their creative wheels in motion.
Interests and Recommendations
Fan is not a strong enough descriptor for how I feel about creation and exploration. My time is taken up with adventures big and small, visiting new places, film photography, consuming podcasts and magazine articles, learning, drawing comics, and creating zines.
When I'm not in the midst of a creative project, I can be found tending to my garden or experimenting in my kitchen.
Music and podcasts are enormous drivers of inspiration, learning, and productivity for me, and I would like to share some of my recommendations with you.
For a happy groovy flow-state creation session, I highly encourage listening to my Produce, Reuse, Recycle playlist.
